Eric M. Smith, M.D.
Dr. Smith has practiced urology in Bloomington at Summit Urology since 1994. He is board certified in urology and his areas of interest include kidney stones, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, male health, and incontinence.
Dr. Smith is a member of the American Urological Association and has advanced training in endourology. He is an assistant clinical professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Smith has extensive experience in general urology, and regularly performs kidney, bladder, and prostate surgery. In addition, he has performed over 2000 vasectomies.
After graduating from Northwestern University and the Indiana University School of Medicine, he completed his general surgery internship and and urology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. While a resident he authored or coauthored twelve scientific articles and book chapters.
Dr. Smith enjoys practicing medicine, and also enjoys family time with his wife and three children.
